WEST COAST YOUTH

MUSIC SOCIETY

HELPING OTHERS THROUGH THE POWER OF MUSIC

The West Coast Youth Music Society (WCYMS) is a non-profit organization that strives to deliver the joy of music to the public while also giving young musicians performance opportunities all around the West Coast. We enjoy helping others by organizing charity concerts and events, as well as giving young musicians a chance to showcase their talent. All of our performances are by volunteer. There is no fee to join the team and no fee to watch performances. Please email us your name and contact information if you would like to request a performance.

MELODIES FOR MEDICINE

We can't all become doctors overnight, but we can our own unique skills to help the people who need it most. All of us at WCYMS have the power of music, which is why WCYMS decided to hold a charity concert for the BC Children's Hospital Foundation on October 18th, 2019. All proceeds from the concert were split between the oncology department and the music therapy program at the BC Children's Hospital. Musicians in this concert include Carnegie Hall performers, national music competition winners, and brilliant young musicians who have gained national recognition.
